BARC Canine Basic Manners (for canines over one year)

Have you tried to train a dog who hasn’t learned basic manners commands? We can help! We will help you teach him a few simple commands. This will make a world of difference and provide a great opportunity for you to bond with you best friend.

In this class, you’ll understand how your dog learns, how to direct what he learns, and how to teach him what you want from him. The skills you learn in the BARC Canine Basic Manners class will benefit you and your dog for a lifetime.

NOTE: If you’re puppy is ready for a class with adult dogs, the pup can participate in this class rather than the puppy class. It’s up to you!

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Advanced Manners Course

The CGC Program teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10-step Canine Good Citizen test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. The CGC award is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups. Some homeowner’s insurance companies are encouraging CGC testing, and an increasing number of apartments and condos require that resident dogs pass the CGC test.

Classes take place on Saturdays at 2pm or Sundays starting at 12:45 p.m. for 6 weeks. Sign up here and view available start dates.

You’ll earn a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
