Our TNR/Community Cats Love Their New Home!

At BARC we love our TNR / Community cats and are grateful for fosters, BARC employees and rescue groups who help us take care of them. Recently we received a very much-needed donation. From the estate of Mr. Richard Matelske BARC graciously received a cat feeding station for our parking lot kitties. Special Thank you Kelli Matelske and Nela Brown from Frisky Paws Rescue for organizing the feeding station.

BARC has expanded Foster Program to Outside the City Limits!

Do you love animals but cannot commit to a forever pet?! Become a FOSTER parent! We have precious puppies and kittens you can help us take care of until they can be adopted! BARC has officially expanded our foster program to reach outside of the City limits. Citizens who live up to 15 miles outside of Houston’s City limits are now qualified to foster a pet! Natural Pawz is such a great supporter of BARC! We truly appreciate the effort they took in dedicating a full day to supporting BARC’s Fixin’ Houston Clinic. They did this by wearing BARC Fixin’ Houston Clinic shirts and donating a portion of the proceeds that day to our cause! It is a program we hope will benefit the City of Houston for years to come by reducing the amount of strays on city streets. THANK YOU Natural Pawz for supporting your community!

Our amazing partner, Rescued Pets Movement was the recipient of a recent donation from Leslie Alexander, owner of the Houston Rockets, to fund the veterinary clinic at their new facility. Today they had a news conference to celebrate. It’s so incredible to see Houstonians coming together to save the lives of homeless pets! Thanks so much Mr. Alexander, and a huge congrats to RPM!
